Thankful!

It's 4am on Wednesday and I'm up and getting ready to leave on a jet plane out to Montana for a week. I just quickly wanted to let everyone know the wonderful news...Dr. Steis called yesterday evening with my reslts from the morning's scan. The tumors are still decreasing is size. He feels that there is a possibility of the tumors being dead because even after 8 months of this specific chemotherapy regiment the cancer cells have not become resistant nor has the cancer began to spread again...??? He also mentioned possible surgery if the tumors happen to still be alive...??? A PET scan will be scheduled and determine the metabolic activity of the tumors. Either way this is fantastic news and I am extremely excited to have the feeling of being at a turning point.
